Valente Law Group, P.C, was formed in August 2008 as a successor firm to Valente & Klein, P.C which operated from January 1999 to August of 2008. The firm represents of mortgage lenders in all aspects of residential real estate transactions, and buyers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions, from the simple to the complex. Our main office is located in Smithtown, New York, which is conveniently located within minutes of the main parkways. In addition, we maintain an office in midtown Manhattan, as well as satellite offices in Nassau and Westchester counties suited for closings with conference rooms, telephones, facsimile and photocopier machines available.
The firm as well as its predecessor was founded by Mr. Valente, who has been an attorney for twenty-two years. Mr. Valente has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate acquisitions. He represents major institutional lenders in their mortgage lending and related business as well as buyers and sellers of residential and commercial properties. He is admitted to the New York Bar. Mr. Valente further concentrated extensively in his prior firms in the fields of bankruptcy, Chapter 7, 11 and 13, criminal law, personal injury, matrimonial law, trusts and estates and civil litigation.
Mrs. Walsh has extensive experience in residential real estate transactions, primarily focused on mortgage lending and compliance; her experience includes preparing documents in connection with various mortgage lending transactions. She is admitted to the New York Bar.
Mr. Melecio focuses on handling real estate transactions, bank settlements and matrimonial matters. In addition to attending bank closings, Mr. Melecio is responsible for managing the CEMA and Coop departments of the firm. He is proficient in Spanish. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School. He is admitted in New Jersey.
Mr. Cronin handles various real estate matters, primarily representing lending institutions at residential real estate closings, including refinances, purchases, and reverse mortgages. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac College School of Law. He is admitted to the New York and Connecticut State bar.
